I’ve been playing around with an Aiptek 3D HD camcorder and fortunately for me, we’ve got a blizzard this weekend! This is what it was like driving through Minneapolis and Saint Paul in it today. You’ll need to be wearing 3D glasses and adjust the settings on the video from the 3D menu in the video player. Found at YouTube from davideerickson.
This video of a drive through Saint Paul was shot using the Aiptek 3D HD Camcorder. You’ll need to wear 3D glasses to see the effect and probably adjust your YouTube settings (using the 3D tool in the toolbar of the video), but once you’ve got all that set, it’s pretty amazing how well it works. So we had 17 inches of snow drop on us during the past two days and now we’re digging out. During the past 48 hours, MnDOT issued a weather advisory, telling people not to travel and they pulled their trucks from the road due to impassible conditions.
The New York Giants, on their way to Minnesota for a game against the Minnesota Vikings, were stranded in Kansas City, then the game scheduled for today, was postponed till Monday, then the Metrodome roof collapsed, forcing the league to move the game to Detroit’s Ford Field.
